The relevance of this issue was certainly not lost on Ceteor, manufacturers of the renowned SOS Booster.

PROPULSTATION®’s innovation: When it is stored, it is charged!

The PROPULSTATION^® is made of 2 parts: on one hand, this is a powerful Battery Booster made for professionals (available in 760 or 1200 Cranking Amps (CA)) and on the other hand it has a docking station in which the Booster is charging.

The docking station has been developed with several fixation holes allowing fixing it in different positions. The station is available in 2 versions:

• Vehicle version: the DC/DC – 12V/12V station is connected to the vehicle’s alternator and has a one-way diode.
• Workshop version: the AC/DC – 230V/12V station is provided with an automatic charger to be connected to the mains.

The docking station ensures the recharging when one stores the Booster at its place. Any short-circuit possibility is also avoid. Thus the Booster is always well charged and will deliver a maximum of power while insuring an optimal lifetime for the Booster.

The PROPULSTATION^® is available in two versions: the 1200CA and the 760CA. The 1200CA can be used to jump start all types of vehicles, even BMW diesels, which, according to Alpha-Dépannage’s owner, are the most difficult to start.

During its presentation at Equip Auto, the PROPULSTATION^® also received a warm welcome from all users and distributors who have directly realized its potential as well as the solutions brought to the daily needs of professionals.

• 1. Maximal power

  

  The PROPULSTATION^® is equipped with a Ceteor battery developed with highest care for breakdown services. This battery uses pure lead plates and is an AGM (absorbed glass mat) type battery. The application of aerospace technology ensures extremely high performance and service life. The battery has exceptionally high capacity to accumulate and disperse high-amperage energy.

  To get the maximal power out of the batteries, it is important to recharge them regularly. However, it often happens that the professional forgets to plug in the booster to its charger with the unpleasant consequences to which it can lead during the next intervention.

  The docking station insures the recharge by simply putting back the booster at its place. The fully charged battery can then supply a maximal energy.

• 2. 100% succesful jump starts

  A well charged booster leads to 100% chances to jump start all vehicles, even for difficult cases. The more powerful the booster, the more autonomy to jump start several vehicles in a row you get. Moreover, the docking station allows the booster to recharge between two interventions and to supply the maximal power.

• 3. A booster always at its place

  

  The PROPULSTATION^® resolves charging and storing issues. The built-in docking station is used as a fixed support for the Booster. The Booster has a dedicated place and can be easily found by professionals, it also avoids that the Booster moves in the vehicle and damages itself or any other material.

  This specificity makes the PROPULSTATION^® a must for all workshops as well. It easily finds its place on a wall or on a workbench, all you have to do is storing it in the docking station and the PROPULSTATION^® is recharging.

  Putting the Booster back in at its place, is leading to an increase in productivity and to the pleasure to always finding its tool where it should be.

• 4. A doubled lifetime

  The batteries in the booster, as well as the vehicles’ battery have to be recharged as often as possible to avoid the sulfation phenomenon, which reduces their lifetime and also their power. When the PROPULSTATION^® is put back at its place, the battery is directly recharging which consequently invert the chemical process of sulfation and allows the battery to get all its capacity back.

• 5. User friendliness

  

  The PROPULSTATION^® has a compact, ergonomic and sober design as well as an ergonomic handle developed for the professionals who often have to use the Booster. It also has a reduced size to optimize the intervention vehicle’s or workshop’s storage. The docking station has been designed with a LED light to indicate whether the Booster is correctly plugged in.

  The dark color has also been chosen for its discretion and to decrease thefts. The PROPULSTATION^® has however been fitted with reflective stickers for those who wish to be seen in the dark during recovery.
